About Felecia

A life-long fan of music and the arts, Felecia Kanney began her career as an elementary music teacher in Fremont, Ohio. She later earned her MBA from Bowling Green State University and served in a variety of roles at the Toledo Symphony Orchestra before becoming the Director of Marketing, where she provided critical branding, marketing, and communications leadership during a time of transformational institutional change. Felecia currently serves at the Vice President of Communications at the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra (CSO), overseeing local, national, and global media and public relations strategy as well as storytelling for key institution-owned communications platforms for the CSO and Cincinnati Pops, May Festival, and Vocal Arts Ensemble. She finds great joy in all things creative and loves helping organizations strategize ways to reach their full potential.
